Lewis Black once went on record saying that Democrats have no ideas and Republicans have bad ideas; I feel that becomes more exaggerated with every passing year.
Not gonna beat around the bush, Bernie Sanders pretty much already said it— the Dems and their failure to address the issues plaguing the working class (and to a lesser extent, the Gaza genocide) is what led to Trump taking power again. Doesn't matter if it's a "leopards ate my face" situation, that's just what happens when the current administration is ineffectual.
That said, I follow this guy's email newsletter and he points out that the US constitution is at least strong enough to prevent Trump from becoming a full-on dictator. With any luck, it'll be like how his first term went: firing everyone the moment he doesn't like them anymore. Can't wait to see the look on Elon Musk's face once he realizes the shit he's gotten himself into.
